The day I wore a skirt to school, I was rejected by my girlfriend.　It was a summer day when Momoi Taichi (17), a member of Class D of the 2nd grade, came to school wearing a skirt. His classmates and teachers are in an uproar over his sudden "wild behavior. The only one who finds it amusing is an eccentric girl (classmate) named Shirai. "You mean you want to dress up as a woman?" This is a coming-of-age story that humorously depicts the inconvenience and love of a boy in a skirt.

Youichi Sawa is a college student vexed by his crush on Nanao, his tutoring student and promising ballet dancer. Sweet but arrogant, Nanao has a girlfriend, and Yoichi decides to keep his feelings a secret. But, when Nanao asks Youichi to have sex wit him, he is powerless to refuse. What started out as only a physical relationship slowly grows into a ten year story of love, heartbreak, and reunion.
